FXNews
FXNews is designed to run without an account. It stores your settings on device, uses local notifications if you enable them, and fetches calendar data so the app can show upcoming economic events and trading-session reminders.
Storage
FXNews stores settings such as watched pairs, impact filters, time format, appearance, selected time zone, onboarding status, and notification preferences on your device. FXNews does not require account creation or profile information to use the app.
Alerts
If you grant permission, FXNews uses local notifications on your device for economic-event reminders and session or overlap reminders. Notification timing, sound preference, and quiet hours are stored locally and can be changed at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Data
FXNews fetches calendar data from a remote feed and may cache that data locally to improve load time and reliability. Cached data can be cleared from the app's settings screen.
Collection
FXNews is not designed to collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment details through the app.
Tracking
FXNews does not use third-party advertising SDKs and is not intended to track you across apps or websites.
Sharing
FXNews does not sell your personal information and is not designed to share personal data with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.
Retention
Preferences and cached calendar data remain on your device until you clear them in the app where available, reset relevant settings, or delete the app from your device.
